Head meet Table...

I went to pick Ellie up at my Mom's house today after school. She was tired-goofy (you know the combination, right...lack of sleep creates loopiness). Despite ALL my efforts earlier in the day, I could not get Ellie down for a nap. She was in her room when I left to get my haircut (family pictures are Saturday), and as soon as I left she bee-bopped herself downstairs to be entertained by Grandma. My mom picked up the phone to call my cousin Maggie (she was with me), and Ellie said, "Don't tell my Mom." Can you say stinker?

Anyhoo...back to picking Ellie up from Grandma's house...I wasn't there but 20 minutes when Ellie started acting all crazy-like...she was shaking her head back and forth, stumbled over her feet, and smacked right into the corner of a table. The size of her bump was HUGE...the pictures don't do it justice! Now for the current dilemma (remember pictures are on Saturday)...bangs or no bangs? I feel a poll coming on...you only have tomorrow to vote (Michelle leaves on Friday).

Poor baby. I'm sorry that she got hurt. As a photographer, yes, any photographer can cover it up, BUT it is pretty tedious, and it takes a LOT of time to do it for a whole session. So, I'd do her hair the normal way, and you can just always remember her bump, being a silly bouncy kid, and hopefully your photographer will remove the bump from the best pics. (((HUGS)))

I love her scowl on that last picture. so cute. Where is she going to daycare at? Corbin loves his daycare sitters as do i. She's old enough though she shoulnt have to may problems.

I say you should let it show in the pictures... it'll make for great memories some day. You could take it out of a few pictures, but I say leave it for most of them. It's too cute to cover up.

Have fun checking out daycares. I checked one out in salem and i didnt like it. The one corbin is at right now is awesome! Her name is robyn scoubes and nyla allen. They are so good with corbin and the other kids. For part time its $60 and for full time $100 a week. Its a little pricey i think but they are so worth it! They are taking the summer off but will be back open towards the end of august. If you want Robyns number let me know. I would recommend her to anyone. She does it out of her house in spanish fork. Let me know if you have any questions.

Let it show... Kyle fell out of Byron's car and had road rash all the way up his face and we have the pictures to prove it. I like the pouty face she has.

think of it this way: if you do cut bangs, you will always remember that you did it b/c she fell just before family pictures and you wanted to cover the bump. if you don't cut bangs, you will always remember she fell and bumped her head b/c you will see the bump in the pictures. either way, you'll remember what happened but if you cut bangs, you'll disguise the bump so you notice her cute face and dazzling smile instead.
make sense?
my vote is cut bangs. its still a good story to tell and Ellie would look darling with bangs!

Ouch! I can't believe it. Of course it would happen right before pictures. If you like her better without bangs you could always photoshop it out. Either way I'm sure she'll still look adorable.

ohhhh poor girl! I hate big head bumps. I say no bangs. the bump gives character!!!! (ok, that is a mom of 3 rough and tumbling boys talking, can you tell, lol. I may think differently with my little girl.)

Bummer! No fun! Trent and I always say that if Ethan doesn't have at least one bruise at nursery something must be wrong. I hope your pictures go well and everything!

Ben had the BIGGEST black eye in our family picture last year. It was almost swollen shut! It makes me laugh looking at it now! I think she would look so cute with bangs...but the bump isn't that bad! Just position her so it's not directly showing! :)
