You know how when you plan family pictures, anything and everything goes wrong? UGH...Luckily we have found a photographer who makes all the awful things that go wrong go unnoticed in pictures!!
Meghan Sonnenberg did our photos back in December on a snowy day...we thought the pictures turned out beautiful with the snowy background, but we weren't able to get a lot of pictures taken because of said background. Anyhow, since Ben is leaving on Wednesday *wipe away a tear*, she offered to do some more for us.
Let me start by saying, Saturday morning was GORGEOUS and started out great, the sun was out, it was fairly warm, Ellie was in a good mood...Then the afternoon hit, I couldn't get Ellie down for a nap, OH and the weather, windy...not just a little windy, BUT crazy windy!! I finally got Ellie down at 2:45 only to have to wake her up at 4:15. She was such a grump!! We got to our destination for pictures (it was a fabulous farm with a covered bridge...Aaron's idea). The wind was still a blowin', but my little fam made it down there about 30 minutes before everyone else (Ellie won't even look at us if Grandpa or Aaron are around).
Anyway, family pictures can be seen here. She really did a fantastic job, I was worried there wouldn't be any to choose from!! I'm really happy with them though.

They turned out SO well. But, then again you and Dan are so photogenic that I shouldn't be surprised (poop on you). I love the one with Ellie upside down. I would totally frame that one, seriously.
When does Ben leave? This Wednesday?
Whatever Debra!! Your pictures always turn out cute! Seriously Meghan pulled some major voodoo, because all those pictures of Ellie...yeah, pretty sure she was SCREAMING, and not happy squeals, all out screams! Never mind that I wore a tunic type shirt that just made me look el prego.
Meagan, Ben enters the MTC on Wednesday. I started a blog for my mom to document her "empty nesting". She is so sad.

Katy they are so cute! Who is the other kid with you guys on the fence? Do you have a long lost brother??? You guys are such a cute family and you would never know she was grumpy! Oh, you hair is super cute!
The pictures were taken on the way to our family farm in Mt. Pleasant. It is about 25 minutes away, past Thistle and the Bennie Creek church.
The "long lost brother" would be Lucas, my cousin. He came out for Benny's farewell.

Your family pictures were darling. You can make it through school, you are almost there. How was your spring field experience? Are you interning next year?
Our Spring field was awesome! We had the best cooperating teacher at Westside Elementary. I am not interning (UGH, I don't think I would have the time or patience this year). Question...what do you do for daycare? I've been asking anyone and everyone, because I am trying to figure out what to do with Ellie next year when I have to teach all day.
Those pictures turned out AMAZING! A good photog makes such a difference. You are stylin'! I have the same shirt from Gap. ;) Your hair is way cute, too! Ellie is a total doll.
