Our "go to" Guy

Everyone needs one, right?

Introducing Tommy....

Tommy is our magical, Christmas Elf. Each night he flies home to tell Santa the good and the bad things Ellie has done throughout the day. He flies back early in the morning, and finds a new spot to observe from for the day.

You'll never believe where we found him Sunday morning...

When Ellie got up in the morning, she stopped at the stairs and started giggling. She yelled for Dan, and said, "Look Dad, look at Tommy!! I told you he was magic!!"
We love waking up in the morning to find him...we will definitely miss him when Christmas is over!!

OMGosh, my girlfriend has an elf too - she has a story that goes with it. do you have a story as well. I think it was some tradition like in Poland or something (I think that is her herritage).

Anyway, I want an elf too! boo whoo, not this year.

Ok that is a GREAT idea. I'm stealing this idea next year when Ammie is old enough to care.

Hey where are his wings and what about feet? What is wrong with that little elf. Can't fly or walk how does he get to "SANTA"? Must be way to magical:)

Just ordered more beads dad and I might be getting a divorce for Christmas!

I know you don't want to hear it again but DON'T let Jeff swing Ellie around like that, SCARY! Hey I brought it up again maybe you'll want to divorce me too! I need a little footless, wingless, elf to watch me too, Aunt Merle isn't doing that great of a job!

Camille there is a book to it. My aunt gave it to us two years ago. Ellie wasn't really into it last year, but this year has definitely made up for it. I think you can find it on Amazon or eBay...

I LOVE it! I need to do that next year because I am always saying that Santa is watching...and then Ben goes into there is no way that he can watch everyone. How did he get it up there???

Oh my gosh, awesome idea! Our elves (Huffy and Gunther--they were my elves growing up) just peek at my kids and write letters to them every so often (leaving them in the Christmas tree) to give the kids the update... Totally stealing your idea!
